Google Nexus 7
Google announced a new Asus-branded tablet called the Nexus 7 during its opening day keynote at Google I/O 2012. Its Google/Asus Nexus 7 with Tegra 3 and 7-Inch IPS Display.
The Google/Asus Nexus 7 sports is the first 7-incher to house a 1.3GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core CPU, which includes a 12-core GPU. It is a 7-inch tablet with a resolution of 1,280x800 pixels, IPS (in-plane switching) screen, 802.11a/b/g/n-compatible Wi-Fi, a 1.2-megapixel front camera (no back camera included), a Micro-USB port, 1GB RAM, a gyroscope, GPS, accelerometer, microphone.

Google/Asus Nexus 7 measures 10.45mm thick, weighs 0.7 pound. It has a textured, grippy backside with both "Nexus" and "Asus" embossed on it.
Google Nexus 7 is starting with a friendly price, 8GB for $199 and 16GB for $249. Now Google is taking pre-orders with shipping expected in 2-3 weeks. For a limited time purchase, buyers will get $25 credit on Google Play store.
